Summer Schools

  • The second edition of the Summer School on Normativity and Reality of Human Rights continues on its task of critically addressing the interplay between norms and facts about human rights. This year, the focus will be on the impact on human rights of new technologies.

The Summer School is jointly organised by the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI) and the Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca” of the University of Padova, and the Human Rights Consortium of the SAS at the University of London, and in cooperation with the School of Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg.   • The International Summer School on Public Policy - Venezia-Padova 2019  is at the Second edition and it is recognized as one of the two Certificated European co-organized IPPA (International Public Policy Association) International Summer Schools. The main objective of the Summer School is to provide advice and knowledge on Public Policy theories, concepts and methodologies to analyze public policy to PhD students and young scholars.This year's Summer School's theme is Democratic Governance, Policy Innovation and Learning.
