International Conference | Memory Policies in a Global World: Promoting Collective Memory Across Contexts
We are pleased to share the Call for Papers for the International Conference Memory Policies in a Global World: Promoting Collective Memory Across Contexts, to be held at the University of Padova (Italy) on 17–18 September 2026.
The conference invites contributions that rethink memory policies from a global and comparative perspective, at the intersection of memory studies and public policy analysis.
We welcome submissions on topics including (but not limited to):
- Conceptualisations of memory policies
- Multilevel governance and transnational dynamics
- Memory policies in contexts of conflict, transition, and crisis
- Sociopolitical impacts: justice, reconciliation, exclusion
- Comparative and global perspectives
