Traveling between the mythical world and the everyday world, Ibirapema, a Tupinambá Indigenous woman, transmutes and travels through space and time, dialoguing, wherever she goes, with the world of Western art, with the city and its concrete spaces and domesticated forests.
Arrow-Body (Ziel Karapotó)
In the video performance "Arrow-Body", Ziel Karapotó moves through an art exhibition, confronting and interacting with the works to provoke reflection on the traces of civilization imprinted within this colonial visual archive.
The event will be held within the Winter School Interrupting Coloniality for Solidarity: epistemic justice, indigenous knowledges and intercultural translation (17-21 February 2025).
