Negotiation Game. Managing Terrorist Threats
The Center for Security Studies - SECURITies presents Negotiation Game: Managing Terrorist Threats, a simulation-based learning activity led by Scientific Director Prof. Valentine Lomellini.
The six-day programme, held over two weeks, will involve two historical cases: the Entebbe crisis (1976) and the kidnapping of Aldo Moro (1978).
Students will take part in preparatory sessions, negotiations and final debates simulating, respectively, the United Nations General Assembly and the Italian Parliament.
The activity is conducted in English and brings together students from the University of Padova, Boston University and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
It offers participants the opportunity to work with archival sources and develop practical skills in negotiation, analysis and diplomatic dialogue.
2 ECTS credits are awarded.
