The second day of the OSES Online Research Workshop will take place on 7 November 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (CET), bringing together scholars from across Europe to discuss pressing issues at the intersection of green transitions, governance, and social change.
The workshop will feature presentations on topics such as the “green backlash” in Europe, economic strategies for sustainable transitions, and the governance of food security, along with discussions on political shifts in EU green ambitions and territorial implications of eco-welfare.
Key speakers include Matteo Mandelli, Caterina Orlandi, Maria Stella Righettini, Niccolò Durazzi, Ekaterina Domorenok, Ruggero Cefalo, Giorgio Osti, Lorenzo De Vidovich, Amandine Crespy, Adam Sheingate, and Margarita Estévez-Abe, among others.
The event will close with a discussion on the future of research collaborations and the next steps for the OSES Network.
