On 13 May 2026, the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies will host the seminar Behind the AI’s Gaze: Microworking and Digital Slavery.

The event will take place from 16:30 to 18:30 in Aula Comune, Ca’ Dottori, via del Santo 28, Padua.

The seminar will be led by Prof. Daniele Ruggiu (University of Padova).

The event will explore the hidden human labor behind artificial intelligence systems, focusing on microworking practices and the emerging challenges related to digital exploitation and forms of “digital slavery.”

Students, researchers, and all those interested in human rights and digital transformations are invited to attend.
